Any restrictions for multiple entry into Germany for US Citizen in the 90 day period?

Can you let me know please if any restrictions apply for multiple entry into Germany for US Citizens in the 90 day tourist period?

I mean am I free to leave Germany and travel to unlimited other countries within and outside of Europe during this time?

Hi,

As Germany issues Schengen visa, you're free to travel around any Schengen country within the 90 day period.

If your visa is a multiple entry, you're also allowed to visit non-Schengen countries and come back, as long as your visa hasn't expired meanwhile.
