Beer Tent Tickets
Can I get tickets for any tent for daytime on Thursday October 1, 2009 for two People?
How much do they cost? How do I make a reservation?
Are any of the tents open, free or can I just walk up & get a ticket?

You don't need a ticket to get into any of the tents. They're all free to enter.
Of course it is better to have a reservation (to be sure to get a seat), but the minimum number for Oktoberfest reservations is 10 persons (one table). Usually reservations are done during January and February, therefore you'd be late anyways.
With 2 persons, early in the afternoon you can usually get into any beer tent and find a space at the table with other people.
