The requirements to apply for a student visa for Germany are basically the same as for a tourist visa (click on the link and you will be taken to the page on my website that describes in detail the requirements for a tourist visa).
Plus you need to demonstrate that you have been accepted to study at a German high school or University.
This means you need to contact the school or university before you apply for the visa, not vice versa.
