Budget Car Rental Munich - Carshare companies
Now you're in Germany and need a budget car rental Munich for a day trip or to drive across the city. What to do now?
Off course you can always hire a car from any of the "normal" well known car rental companies like Sixt, Hertz, Avis, Europcar.
But nowadays there's a much better and more flexible way for short term car hire: the carshare budget car rental Munich!
Flexible, easy, convenient: Car on Demand
There are 3 new companies on the block, that offer car on demand service: Drive Now, Flinkster and Zebramobil. Apart from them you have the two conventional carshare companies in Munich Stattauto and Stadtteilauto, that are best if you stay in Munich for at least one year.
How does it work? The concept is very simple: Travel when you want, where you want and how you want.
First you have to register with the company one time. Once you're a customer you can locate the car nearest to you via internet or your smartphone. Reserve the car for 15 minutes or walk there right away. Open the vehicle with your customer card and drive on...
It's as easy as that!
Ok, now a few more details (we haven't used the cars ourselves so far, but friends of us have and they claim it's really that easy).
